Adelaide Hills Cop II actually has nothing to do with being a cop situated in Adelaide Hills, but rather Gordon Southern‘s life as an alcoholic Englishman navigating the complexity of Australian culture — from tensions between White Australia and the Muslim community to Sydney’s lockout laws.

Southern takes a comically charged look back to the times before millennials ruled the world; when Rolf Harris was still considered a national treasure. Drawing on stories from his marriage, his family and his early days of comedy, Southern manages to keep his audience laughing, or at least on edge for what may come next.
